Review of MSK Physiotherapy - Wokingham Hospital
25th May 2024

The physiotherapists were excellent in their care and ensuring that I could go forward on my own to continue with the exercises. They also said that if I needed any further treatment, I was to be certain to ask my doctor to be referred again.

Review of Talking Therapies
25th May 2024

I found the course generally very helpful , although there were aspects that l couldn’t adhere to . Especially the sleep deprivation in order to eventually reach a better sleep pattern . I sometimes felt l didn’t fully understand all the sequence of the course .l also don’t understand how a person can know exactly when they fall asleep ( that would mean watching the clock to note the time , and that is not possible

Suggested improvements
Maybe someone to actually speak to on the phone from time to time .

Review of Talking Therapies
24th May 2024

My therapist has been very supportive and I felt heard, validated, and encouraged. There were some key education pieces I felt were very impactful (the different types of worries) and how to manage them, which I continue to work on today.

Suggested improvements
Sometimes the phoneline was not quite stable. There was an incident where I never received the call and we had to reschedule.

Review of Talking Therapies
24th May 2024

There was an occasion where the advice given was inappropriate and I would have thought that they should have known enough about me and my background to have been more sensitive.

Suggested improvements
See above The group at the first session was nearly double the size I had been told it would be. This was disappointing and made it very difficult for everyone to engage. Many didn't return.

Review of Community Wards West - Wokingham Hospital - Windsor Ward
24th May 2024

Most of the staff were nice but some weren’t friendly, never smiled & made you feel uncomfortable.i was worried to ask for things as felt it would be too much trouble. A member of staff spoke rudely to my daughter despite her explaining she was there because she had been told to go there in the morning to see the doctor.

Suggested improvements
I am now in Royal Berkshire Hospital. My blood pressure became really low on Sunday & despite this I was given morphine. Both wasn’t checked again for quite a while & then an ambulance was called. I couldn’t be moved until stabilised & spent the night in resus very poorly. Three of us out of 6 in my bay at Wokingham were taken to hospital over a couple of days & I do wonder if staff are monitoring patients properly. I wouldn’t feel safe going back there.

Review of CAMHS Wokingham Specialist Community Team
24th May 2024

The family therapy environment was relaxed and the HCPs were friendly and had good interactions with my son. They listened and they encouraged my son to engage (if they wished to) and the feedback in each session was very insightful and helpful.

Suggested improvements
I think it may have been useful in the later sessions to have adapted a "fluid" input from the HCPs, instead of 2 short slots in the sessions for feedback.

Review of CAMHS Wokingham Specialist Community Team

Everyone in the family therapy team dedicated their time to listen and provide different points of view and helped me to reform my sentences in a way that my dad could understand better. They also respected my chosen name and pronouns without question.

Suggested improvements
Sometimes I would have appreciated a longer session time.
