The physiotherapists were excellent in their care and ensuring that I could go forward on my own to continue with the exercises. They also said that if I needed any further treatment, I was to be certain to ask my doctor to be referred again.
I was listened to and given care that helped improve my situation
All good
I found the course generally very helpful , although there were aspects that l couldn’t adhere to . Especially the sleep deprivation in order to eventually reach a better sleep pattern . I sometimes felt l didn’t fully understand all the sequence of the course .l also don’t understand how a person can know exactly when they fall asleep ( that would mean watching the clock to note the time , and that is not possible
My therapist has been very supportive and I felt heard, validated, and encouraged. There were some key education pieces I felt were very impactful (the different types of worries) and how to manage them, which I continue to work on today.
There was an occasion where the advice given was inappropriate and I would have thought that they should have known enough about me and my background to have been more sensitive.
Most of the staff were nice but some weren’t friendly, never smiled & made you feel uncomfortable.i was worried to ask for things as felt it would be too much trouble. A member of staff spoke rudely to my daughter despite her explaining she was there because she had been told to go there in the morning to see the doctor.
The family therapy environment was relaxed and the HCPs were friendly and had good interactions with my son. They listened and they encouraged my son to engage (if they wished to) and the feedback in each session was very insightful and helpful.
I was well informed and well listened too.
Everyone in the family therapy team dedicated their time to listen and provide different points of view and helped me to reform my sentences in a way that my dad could understand better. They also respected my chosen name and pronouns without question.
